5 interview questions for me from Danielle LaPorte

I am back from the dead, temporarily, this Superbowl Sunday. Danielle LaPorte, co-author of Style Statement, one of my favorite books of 2008, has recently launched a new site of her own, White Hot Truth. A fusion of inspiration, provocative inquiry, and good style, it's a great site to follow.

One of her posts, in which she was interviewed by Larry of Yesterday,Today, Forever, included an invitation to post if you wanted a series of 5 interview questions from her.

I was delighted to accept that challenge, as the answer I am trying to give as often as possible in life is captured beautifully in Danielle's image above.

major inspiration from a feisty lady

holli of baby-faith was kind enough to suggest a new fantastic blog as a source of inspiration, so i decided to feature it this month. it is called rozsavage.com and it follows a woman's solo journey rowing across the pacific from california to hawaii (and possibly beyond- i have only just started reading.) she is amazing and blogs on her cell phone from the actual boat. the blog also has video and audio clips to allow you to follow her experience.

as i sit here reading this site on the last day of my twenties, i am so inspired to take more risks in the next decade. watching this incredible feat and roz's courage and humility in the process is such a boost to try something new, even if it is scary. please do look into it and thank you again, holli, for the tip.

(ps- i should have called this post "major inspiration from feisty ladies" as i think holli and roz are both pretty feisty and couldn't decide in the end which lady i was referring to with the title)
