This week has been one of those that strikes fear into the heart of anyone who is changing jobs, starting a new company but not ready to talk about it, or just dreaming a big dream behind closed doors: the holidays.

No other time of year requires people to answer the question "What do you do?" over and over again at the same event more than the holidays.
