The podcast is up! Instead of figuring everything out at once, ian, the producer, suggested this morning that we just throw the podcast up on the site and worry about rss feeds this week for the next show. so... we are live. you can either click this link to hear the show, or visit literature life and click "week 1" under "podcast!" in the sidebar right below the links to categories. we had fun with the show and hope you will enjoy it also. please write me and tell us what you think. and remember, we're reading memory keeper's daughter up to page 189 this week to talk about it on the show. please read along and write in what you think and we can red your comments out on the show. we also take questions and reading-inspired comments...
here we are, shocked we didn't die of fright or dead air time. it actually worked out rather well.
I'm not very good at relieving stress, but here are a few suggestions:
1. catch up on magazine reading in the tub (especially The New Yorker)
2. go for a brief easy canyon hike somewhere local
3. make a drink or go out for drinks
i realize #3 sounds bad, but i do it so infrequently that i'm not worried it's a habit. (yet.)

thank you. i agree about reading anything in the tub. #3 is not such a horrible thing to suggest. when i was younger it was a little bit more of a knee-jerk reaction, but now i think it is reasonable, especially when going out. getting out is good. thank you for commenting!
